We were anxious to get out on a fun hike so Jared asked around at work for some ideas. Blodgette Canyon was suggested because it is beautiful, easy to hike with Gage and had a river running next to it. It definitely ended up being all those things! We all enjoyed it. These pictures were taken with Jared's cell phone.

Jared has had the opportunity to play soccer this past spring. He is really enjoying it. Only one thing though...he's gotten older! His body is just not quite the same and he gets frustrated with how sore his body is the next day. He is in better shape now and can keep up a little better with the "young guys" than when he first started. Here are some fun pictures of him from his last game. Sorry I am not the best photographer and I was afraid to get any closer. Balls and my head don't mix.
I found this picture of Jared, on the left, quite humorous. It looks like the ball is chasing him.
The picture on the right is of Jared's friend Marvin (the one in gray, in the air.) He works with him and he is the one who asked him to be on the team. Go Marvin!

Those are some great action shots Amy! I remember mom saying to find Jared out on the field she would look for the whitest legs. Guess that still works :)

Jared, I did that hike with my dad and a friend from college. Really cool area, especially if you go all the way to the lakes at the end.
Those are some awesome pictures.. I love the action shots cuz it looks like there is no real reason for them jumping around since the ball is so far away. I know Jared loves it cuz he's mentioned it almost everytime we've talked on the phone.
When I first saw the name of the canyon I thought it was BLOGette. hee hee :-)

WHOO HOO! Soccer is the best! They have a soocer team at lands' end and I have been invited to join, but I'm not in very good shape and I'm scared about my knee. It's only gotten stuck when I was prego, but I can feel it almost catch sometimes. But I've felt that maybe I'm using my knee as an excuse because I'm afraid that I'm not as good as I used to be...
Hehe! I like the one where it looks like Jared is trying to take off..
