I was able to go with Gage on the first field trip of his school career. We went to Peas Farm. They grow fruits and veggies for people to buy and to help feed those in need in our community. Gage is standing among onions that are hanging from the building.
The kids were given the grand tour and enjoyed quite a few samples. The farm also has pigs that all the left over fruits and veggies go to. They looked like they were well fed and happy.
We were blessed to have such a beautiful fall day.
