We put on a special program for my parents that included music, a wonderful tribute video my brother Charles put together, and a book of thoughts, memories and pictures from their children and grandchildren.
When our program was over we had an open house for extended family to come and visit with my parents. It was really good to see so much family and feel of the love and support they have for my parents.
It was amazing to work together as siblings and put this together for my parents. There was a lot of love and time that went into it. My parents seemed to be glowing with love and gratitude for all that we did to make this day special for them. I knew they felt our love, respect and gratitude for them . They have taught us and sacrificed for us for so many years and continue to do so and it was a pleasure to honor them in this way. It was a great day!
