While Jared went fishing, Gage and I drove to Placid Lake picnic area and hung out. There was a dock that allowed us to sit out on the lake and enjoy the gorgeous view. We ate snacks, chased squirrels, played Gage games and watched a boat come into the dock.

On our last day of camping we hiked to Morrell Falls. It wasn't too far from where we were camping and they said it wasn't a hard hike so we thought we would try it. We had our friend, Karra, with us who was excited to finally get to do this hike. She had heard a lot about it, but just hadn't had they opportunity to go. When we finally made it to the Falls it was worth the effort it took to get there. It was pretty awesome. It sure was chilly though!

I love the picture of Gage roasting marshmallows with his hat turned backwards. He looks like he is going on 16. The falls are beautiful.
How fun. Gage is a man after his father's heart. Pyromaniacs!
I need some cold water here.
looks so fun! I need to do some camping for sure. We have a fire pit here so any time you guys want to stop by I'll light up one and provide the smore and hot dog fixin!
Don't you just love being out on the water. Its so peaceful and calm and fun and feels good!
What a fun summer! you have so many cute pictures of Gage, I esp. like the profile shot where he is holding the fishing pole-so cute!
I really really want to go camping. But I'm so worried about ticks. I know that that is silly of my but my friends kids always come back with ticks on them. So I would love to go camping with you guys! I sooo need to move back west! Fun pictures of Gage.
So fun! Nicole likes her marshmallows "unroasted" too. She insists on roasting one by herself, feeding it to me, and then eating a cold one herself.
Do I complain? No.
