So this post was supposed to be about how much fun we had finding our Christmas tree in the mountains. By the time we got unstuck it was rapidly getting dark and Gage and I were already quite cold from the before mentioned situation, so the tree hunt had to happen fast.
This is by far the saddest tree we have gotten. But I was getting desperate, desperately cold that is! I guess we could call it our Charlie Brown tree.

We brought it home and decorated it and tried to make it beautiful. Jared and I weren't too impressed, but Gage was so excited and having so much fun that it made our Charlie Brown tree not seem so bad.

It may not be the best tree, but it's still a fun memory! It is very beautiful there. Is that popcorn on your tree? I love it!
I think that is an awesome tree! And so fun that you got to go cut it down urself.
Christmas is certainly for kids. I was thinking my tree was too full :-)
It's amazing how much better a tree looks all decorated and in your house. I think getting stuck is part of the whole Christmas deal. And isn't it nice that someone always comes by to help when you really need it!
your post brings back lots of fun memories... probably wasn't so fun for the parents and older kids who tried to unstick us! But I think your tree looks cute in your house and i'm glad someone came by to help so you aren't still up there!
Okay, so it looked a little pathetic when it was outside but in your apartment it looks pretty darn good. We love trees with character though. Where in there world were you? Was that somewhere around here? I didn't realize we have so much snow. Cold, yes. Snow, no.
hey! i love charlie brown trees!
It actually doesn't look like a Charlie Brown tree in your house with some decorations on it. I like trees with space between branches so ornaments can actually hang down.
