Our anniversary is in December, but it seems to get neglected in that month so we decided to start "celebrating" it in February around Valentine's day. This year we decided to make it an overnight trip. We have not done that since Gage was born. We were very excited! We had some great friends who took care of Gage for us!
We were able to attend the Spokane temple and then head off to the Bed and Breakfast. TheB & B was a farm setting, complete with the log cabin feel. The Hosts were wonderful people and since we were the only guests there at the time we ended up visiting with them for quite awhile. We forgot to take pictures while at the B & B, but we did get some picture on our scenic drive around Couer d' Alene lake. It was such a gorgeous crisp morning as we headed out.
We really had a enjoyable time. It was nothing extravagant or thrilling, but simple and fulfilling. Just what we needed!

That does look like lots of fun. How nice to be able to get away to the mountains!
How wonderful! We need an overnighter away from the kids, too.
