Spring time happenings!

Gage has started a dance class. It is not something I would normally think of enrolling Gage in, but it is very inexpensive and came highly recommended so we decided to try it. He loves it! He has been learning balance, basic dance moves, how to bow, telling a story through dance and just having a blast!

Jared had to change the oil in the car and Gage was ready to help and learn about what goes on under the hood of a car. I was very excited to see this because then Gage can help Daddy instead of me. Big bonus!




Gage and our preschool group went to the fire station. Our little group was so quiet the fireman didn't know what to make of it. They were just so fascinated!




We enjoyed flying kites the other day. We have been enjoying spring weather. Can you tell?!? I love this snake kite that Gage was given for his birthday a couple years ago. Gage sure was excited for it to go higher and higher. The wind was being very sporadic so the kite was doing a lot of twists and turns and dives. It wasn't very fun for Jared trying to control it, but it sure made it fun to watch.

Gage and I planted some seed in hopes that we will be able to get a community garden this year. If not we will make use of some pots on our patio.

Gage had his first egg hunt this past week. When the eggs were almost all gone I caught up with Gage to get his picture. I looked in his basket and found lots of candy, but no plastic eggs. I asked him where the eggs went. He explained to me that he just wanted the candy. As I looked around I saw a bunch of empty eggs scattered around on the grass. Silly boy!
