I asked Jared to build me a simple shelf for our bedroom closet floor. I really wanted to get our shoes and bags organized. So we decided to make it into a FHE lesson. We went to Home Depot and bought our supplies and went to work.
Jared taught Gage and I how to build this simple shelf. Jared is a great teacher! And yes you will notice that we are in our living room getting saw dust all over. But that is life in an apartment, when it is still winter outside, and you want to build something now!!!
Gage was so excited to be Handy Manny. That is how we motivated him, by telling him he could be Handy Manny.
He took it quite seriously and helped us get the job done.
We do have friends who would happily let us use their garage and we have taken advantage of that before, but it was a simple job and we have a vacuum with great suction. I am sure our neighbors were wondering what all the noise was though.
The shelf is awesome and is doing it's job nicely.

I don't know who Handy Manny is, but I'm sure he's a hard worker if he can help build shelves :-). I'm sure many are going to share this sentiment, but perhaps I can borrow Jared for a bit?
