This year Gage has been so fun! He thoroughly enjoys my simple efforts to make a holiday a bit more fun. I didn't take pictures on Valentine's Day with my heart pancakes and heart attacked table, which I am sad about, but I did for St. Patrick's Day. Gage loved his green eggs and ham and pancake and milk. He is so sweet the way he tells me how great it is and how I am the best for preparing it. It sure makes my day!!
I think Jared had him convinced that there was a green chicken and green cow that helped supply our breakfast.
This evening Gage and I were reading books together and then cuddling and talking. I started telling him how happy I was that he was mine and then proceeded to tell him about the special circumstances that brought him into our lives. I told him about when he was born and taking him home from the hospital and how proud I was of the beautiful, good boy he is. His face shown with pride of a boy who knows he is loved and cherished. I then told him how much I loved him and he cuddled up to me and told me he would love me forever even when we die and on Sundays! This was such a sweet moment and I want to remember it for all those times we are butting heads and he is trying my patience. And believe, there are plenty of those times. Here's to remembering the good times when the trying times come.
Happy birthday, Dio!!

You are such a fun mom. I never remember to do anything fun on holidays! Gage is such a sweet kid. It's those small sweet moments that make being a mom totally worth it.
We are so glad you are such good Mom to one of our really great grandchildren. Granddad says "greatness runs in our family'.
By the way we are really impressed that you are even loved on a Sunday
..may the good times out number the 'trying'...
and we have green cows in texas ...
Awesome breakfast Gage! I'm green with envy.
