Utah Trip

Spending the day with Emily

Emily!!! What are you looking at back there???

Not too pretty huh?
How come Emily looks terrified, yet I am the one with the dinosaur about ready to bite my head off and I'm smiling?
It was a very hot day, so Emily took us to Bridal Falls, thinking we could cool off.  I couldn't believe how many people were there and how hot it was.
Gage enjoyed climbing around the falls and playing with the fish.

Spending the weekend with Nancy and Lucas

Nancy and I hanging out outside Sunday evening watching Lucas and Gage play in the water.
Can tell that Lucas is saying "cheeeese"?
Lucas loves playing with the water hose and spraying himself. Burrrr!
Nancy turned on the sprinklers for Gage to cool off. Gage said he was doing pushups and donkey kicks over the sprinklers.

The day at Lagoon!

We took this picture just before the rides all opened. Gage was so anxious to get going!
Gage and I rode our first ride together. Jared didn't think his stomach would appreciate this ride.

Jared and Gage decided to ride The Mouse. Not me! I don't care for whiplash. Then we all rode the Colossus together and had a blast.
Gage enjoyed the bumper cars.
I didn't think that Gage would be allowed to ride one of Lagoon's newer rides, "Wicked", but they did. They have a booster seat for kids to sit in. This ride is crazy! I wasn't sure I wanted to go on it, but I decided I had to at least once. Gage was really excited to ride it, but I could tell he was really nervous. We went for it and had a blast. I could only handle it once, Jared lost his hat and Gage said "Lets do it again!". Jared took him on it a few more times.

This Chinese ride put Gage in the mood to meditate! He had fun going on a lot of the kids rides by himself while Jared and I watched and rested and let our stomachs settle. We enjoyed time at Lagoona Beach during the hot afternoon hours and then Gage tried to hit as many rides as possible until we left a little before closing time. Jared and I were wiped out, but Gage just couldn't get enough of the rides. We loved seeing him have so much fun.
