We had fun competing at skipping rocks across the pond. I guess Bailey did pretty good by the look of it!
This tiny town is called Marble because of the marble quarries there. There was a park that we walked through that had random marble pieces or chunks on display.
Of course we went hiking...it didn't go quite as planned. The trail signs weren't very helpful. When we came to a fork in the road we weren't sure where to go. We were trying to find a falls. Poor Jim got his workout for sure scouting out the two trails for us. But we finally found our way and enjoyed a little rest by the stream. The falls wasn't quite what we were thinking it would be, but the area was beautiful.
The Dad's helped the kids catch some fish. It was definitely a success. Kids were pulling in fish left and right.
We also enjoyed canoeing on the lake.
Cousins are the best (Andrew, Gage, Joel & Hannah)
Our biggest adventure was probably visiting Black Canyon. The drop-off was awe inspiring and SCARY! It was terrifying to watch the little ones get close to the edge even with a guard rail. Neita is one brave cookie! She is very afraid of heights and braved the lookouts anyway.
Gage's best bud was Carly. She was great with him and he thought she was so cool.
Emily is clearly enjoying herself, riding in the back of Grandad's pickup.
It can't be a Helm reunion without music and singing. Anyone can join in or just sit, listen and enjoy.
What a great reunion! We always enjoy our time at the Helm family reunions.

Thanks for sharing your pictures! It is always fun to get together with family :)
I don't think my kids would call me brave...more like extremely embarrassing! But hey, someone needs to do something that everyone will remember FOREVER!
