JAG AT THE HELM

Sunday, April 10, 2016

It's funny how I don't really feel like I have only one child. I always seem to be watching other peoples children. I love how these kids help Gage experience a little of what its like to have "siblings". The four children I babysit love Gage and enjoy every bit of attention he gives them. It's funny when he complains about some thing that the kids did that make him frustrated and I think to myself, "This is so good for him!!" These kids are precious and we love having them even though sometimes it makes things get a bit crazy!

The kids I babysit are Oakley, Weston, Millie and Jax
Millie often lets me do her hair. Since I don't have a girl I love being able to do this. She even has her own makeup draw in my bathroom! I love it! She is precious.

Oakley is my little helper. She love helping in the kitchen and is a good help with the other kids.

Weston is fun and has a very animated way of talking about buffalos and dinosaurs. He just cracks us up.

Jax is a cute easy going one year old. He loves to jabber and pound on the piano and feed the animals.

One of their favorite things to do with Gage is play on the trampoline.

My sister Sarah and her family live close by so I am often watching her kids. It's mostly the younger ones that aren't in school yet.  I love having them so close.
One of the kids's favorite things to do is take pictures and videos with my phone.
Grace asked if I would lay on their floor and look up at the stars on her ceiling. I don't think Oliver and I were quite as excited as she was. But she was adamant that she could see the big dipper so I just went with it.

Sidra is a goofball as you can see!

Many times I will drop Gage off to play with the boys and Grace, Sidra and I will go have fun together. These two are quite the pair. They keep me laughing and make me a little crazy too!

Recently Grace, Gage and his friend and i went to Wheeler Historic farm see the sights. Grace absolutely loved it. She kept wanting to pose for pictures (she's quite the diva). She also wanted me to capture every move the animals made. Gage and his friend were feeling quite grownup and didn't want to hang out with us girls so they went and wondered by themselves.
