So what brought this on? I think getting him potty trained started it and then seeing him pick up a pair of scissors and cut something reaffirmed it for me. Oh yeah, and the fact that he won't let me give him as many hugs and kisses anymore is a downer. Babyhood is gone! Boyhood is here!

I took these picture of him cutting away. He has to use his tongue to perform any task, including cutting with scissors. It is so funny!

i so like my kids whatever age they are that i rarely miss the baby stage ... except when i'm holding a baby!
I think I'm starting to feel that way with Quinton a little bit. I look at Clara and realize Quinton was as little as her just a year ago! It's sad and exciting at the same time.
He's so cute sticking his tongue out like that! That trait runs with a couple people in my family too.
It is really hard to see them grow up!! Its amazing how fast time flies! I never understood until I started having kids... That is so cute that he uses his tongue! I think my little Gavin will do the same thing
I'm right there with ya. Each stage has it's benefits and sorrow's. He sure is cute at any stage though.
I've been thanking about that lately too. Andrew isn't a baby any more and he can do so many things on his own. He also wont take a nap! I also try not to think about the fact that he might be the last. I love how Gage uses his tongue. Great pictures
Such a cute post. Bitter Sweet. You are such a great mom!
I'm so glad I finally got onto your blog. Maddie loves seeing pictures of her friends and what they are up to, and Gage is one of the cutest/funniest.
