Our Stake has Father & Sons every other year and since this is an off year, two of the wards got together to have a quick camp out. Although the notice was short, Gage and I decided to attend. With memories of building dams in the river, eating an excess of sausages, fire (nothing more needing to be said), rain and many more, we headed out early for our first camping experience with just the two of us. Ended up not being close to water and not having many trees and not having many people there. Despite this, the weather was calm and warm and nothing "exciting" happened (no rushing to the hospital and such). Gage was most excited about playing in the fire and not having mom there to protect him. One opportunity that Gage's mother is not thrilled about is pictured below. I used a Green Hornet 22 LR with a small scope. If interested it has an integrated silencer and was quieter than any BB gun I have heard. One shot, one kill.

Its good to know u can support ur family in times of famine... at least if someone has a gun u can borrow :-)
I love FIRE! Gotta teach those kids young.
If this not doesn't make sense its cuz I'm sick. Just FYI.
Mothers never want to know what goes on at Father and Sons. Nate has saved many kids(not our own) from trouble over the years.
I'm glad that you all had a good time and that Gage came back in one piece! I can't wait until we can go camping!
It was way funny to read this to dad and Mom, dad had many comments to most everything you said. Glad you had a good time! What did you shoot (in reference to the one shot one kill)?
