Happy Birthday
Gage Robert Helm!

Gage was so excited for his birthday party. We invited some of his little friends and their families. Since our place is kind of small we asked to have it at some friends of our, the Tanners. They are renting a home with an awesome yard.

Here is our cute birthday boy with his birthday hat. He was so excited to wear his b-day hat. I had to keep saying "not until your party!" When I asked Gage what kind of cake he wanted he said he wanted a pink cake. Well, that didn't go over well with Dad. I found this race track cake that looked easy enough for me to do and Gage loved it. So all thoughts of a pink cake were gone, mostly. He did bring it up a few times again.



Here is some of his buddies enjoying their barbecue hot dogs and hamburgers that Daddy grilled. There is Jared slaving away over the grill.














Gage was having so much fun playing with the kids outside that he didn't really want to come in and open presents. But he did and he received some fun things! It was so funny how fast he would grab for a pickle or strawberry if there was any loll in the presents getting to him. He loved the food everyone brought. He did great blowing out his candles, but we think he received a little help at the end from a friend.









Gage is not a big ice cream fan (must not his fathers son), but he loves Popsicles. We got him some push ups and boy did he make a mess! As you can see below.

Kids and parents had a great time! It was so fun. Gage just couldn't have looked or acted happier. That, of course, made his parents very happy!!!
