JAG AT THE HELM

Jared, Gage and I enjoyed our trip to Wyoming to see my brother Charles and his family. Charles and Jared went on a backpacking/fishing trip for the first couple of days.

Gage and I stayed behind and played with his Aunt Carolyn and his cousins Colby, Cambry and Clayton. Here are some of the things we did.

Children's Museum

Park/Lots of playing in the water and on the trapoline in the backyard.

Seeing some of the the sights. This is a river that sinks under the ground and comes back up 1/2 mile later. Where the river comes back up there are many big fish that are content to hang out because of the constant supply of food and consistant temperature. Pretty cool. And no, you aren't allowed to fish!!! The video shows you how many fish were down there. And yes, I had a heart attack and over reacted when I saw what looked like Cambry reaching over the edge.
We enjoyed going on a nature walk. One of the highlights was the suspension bridge we had to cross. Charles and Jared made sure it rocked as much as possible.

We also had fun creating some nature music as we blew into our horse tail grass. I think Clayton was enjoying his grass in a different way. What a cutie!

We had such a enjoyable time. It was a great combination of activity and relaxation. Thanks Wyoming Family for putting up with us! We sure appreciated it.

Just seeing that bridge gave me the heebie jeebies. I like short bridges like that but it looked long and scary!

Such a fun vacation and looks like great fishing. I'm afraid I would be very tempted where there are lots of fish and a no fishing sign. Glad you were able to have a fun time with family.
