Christmas tree hunt

It took quite a while to find that perfect tree. But we enjoyed wandering around the mountains. It wasn't too cold so I enjoyed it much more this year than in past years. We did start getting a bit cranky when darkness was coming on and we hadn't picked our tree yet.
We found one though, in the nick of time.ared hauled it up the mountain side with Gage in tow.
As you can see in our pictures it was getting quite dark, but it was beautiful.

Here is our cute little scraggly mountainside Christmas tree. If it looks like our tree is leaning...well...it is. It's got character!

Trees with character are my favorite kind. Nice pictures. We missed the tree cutting party here. Maybe next time

(Counting the days til you get here.)

Hey, not bad! We cut down our tree this year too. Next year I'm bringing hot cocoa in the car and a sled to pull the boys on!

I like character! Our artificial tree is falling apart so I'm trying to convince Ben that we want live next year. I hope! It looks so fun to go hunting.
