While helping Gage brush his teeth before bed, I "helped" him pull out his loose tooth. He just didn't know I was going to do it. I told him to let me see how loose it was and then I quickly yanked and it came out. He was quite surprised and disturbed by all the blood filling his mouth. After we gave him a wet wash cloth and the blood slowed down he got very excited. He kept telling me he couldn't believe I just pulled it out! But he thanked me.
Knowing the tooth fairy was coming made him suddenly excited to go to bed. We told him to put his tooth in an envelope and put it under his pillow and the tooth fairy would take the tooth and leave money. He instantly got tears in his eye when we told him this. He loved his tooth. He wanted to keep it. So we helped him come up with a solution. You can see that solution below. He was happy to see in the morning that the tooth fairy granted his wish.
Happy birthday, Dio!!
