We were excited for the start of our Spring Break to go to Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. It has a great dinosaur exhibit Gage was excited to see. It was so dark that it was hard to take pictures, but I got a few that tuned out.
Gage's face cracks me up in this picture. He looks a little nervous. He actually did admit that he was getting a little creeped out with the dimmed lights and dinosaur sound effects being played over the sound system.
After Bozeman we drove to Idaho Falls and stayed the night with Bethanie and her family. Jared pruned some trees at their home and we enjoyed spending the day outside visiting and playing.
Then we were able to spend the rest of our Spring Break in Oakley at my parents house. My sister Sarah and her family were also there. It was pretty crazy helping five young kids color eggs, but they had a great time so that is all that counts, right?
I find this picture of Sidra and I very amusing. I am looking a little overwhelmed while she seems to be wondering if I am ok.
Elisha, Gage, Camden and Lincoln creating beautiful colorful eggs.
Gage and Jared found their hidden Easter baskets. I think Jared is over doing it a bit, don't ya think?
Our Easter Egg hunt was very cold and windy, but that didn't stop them. Grace is giving a look that says "Touch my eggs and you are toast!"
We hide one large candy filled egg and try to make it very challenging for the "older kids" to find. Jared was the lucky one to go into the ouchy blue spruce and fetch it out.
Jared spent a lot of time pruning trees and tilling the garden at my parents house. We were all able to help a bit. The weather was good enough to allow us to be outside most of the time. Gage loved being able to play with his cousins all day long and get dirty.
We did enjoy some down time too. Here is Uncle Jared making Sidra happy by sitting down with her and reading a book...
