Christmas 2012

I made an Advent Calendar that had activities each day for us to do. I think Gage's favorite activity was sleeping "under" the Christmas tree. Jared was on a business trip so it was just Gage and I. Of course I was going to sleep in comfort so we blew up the air mattress. We talked about Christmas memories and things we were looking forward to. It was a special time.

I loved Gage's Holiday Program this year. They sang some fun songs and you could tell they were having a blast!

We have four 1st grade classes and here they are! So cute.

In our Navitiy this year at Grandma Pam's home it was a bit sparse, but we had enough to act it all out. Rowan was the donkey, Clara was Mary (she was quite sweet with the donkey), Gage was Joseph, Quinton was a shepherd, Nolan and Ammon were the wisemen and our reluctant angel was Emily.
 Was Santa really here????
 Oh yes he was!!!

My Dad was surprised to see his stocking stuffed. Must have been those Elves.

My nephew Warren keeps popping up. I am sure you can guess why!!! He is such a cutie.
Some Star Wars, some rockets and lots of wrapping paper. That was Warren's favorite part.
I love this picture of Clara. The box she is unwrapping is bigger than her. Just her cute little feet  and her head showing.
My Dad had this big box wrapped at his house since Thanksgiving. It was from my brother Charles and his wife Carolyn. He said it had been taunting him for a month. He was excited to finally open it. It was a Wet/Dry Vac!
My mom got a puzzle board! She is always working on a puzzle over Christmas. The puzzle board has little drawers that you can separate the pieces  into. It was very handy.
What a good dad Barry is! Clara was excited to have her toe nails polished.
Warren and his big brother Quinton.
Barry is headed down the hill with Quinton and Clara.

Look close...Jared is in that little poof of snow. The before...
...and the after. Where's the sled???
Barry, mush, mush...those kids want to get to the top of the hill.

My mom seem to think that sledding down the hill was a time to collect snow. Maybe she wanted to build a snowman at the bottom of the hill. Hehehe!

Nolan made a bed of snow and laid in it for quite some time. I think climbing up and down the hill wore him out.
Gage thought it was fun to bury is head in the snow. I thought it looked pretty funny. He could breath under there.
My mom can't resist making a snow angel.
