The weather was chilly and the wind got a little too gusty and the rain kept sprinkling on us, but we braved through it and had a fun time. We camped at Lake Como with our friends, the Green family.
There was a trail that went around the lake that you can bike on so we decided to try it. It gets pretty narrow and rocky in some places, but we all survived. Some came back with a few bumps and bruises, but nothing too serious. It was a lot of fun and beautiful.
The Greens have three boys so you can imagine what they did for excitement. Bugs, bikes and fire!
We promised the boys that they could play at the little beachy area at the lake, but it was so chilly. Of course they didn't care and had a blast. I mostly stayed in the truck watching...Gage, Cooper and Lincoln played in the sand and water and Jared and Chase did some fishing. Lindsay was braver than I was . That is her wrapped up in towels laying on the sand. Brrrrr!
On our way home Jared wanted to stop and fish in the river. I had a good book and was tired so I read and slept while Gage and Jared fished. Jared caught a nice big brown trout. We ate it for dinner that night.
