Jared had the opportunity to raft down the Lochsa river with some friends. We and a few other wives and kids came along and camped overnight one of the nights.
The favorite thing to do at this camp sight was to find and collect snails. I couldn't believe how many there were. The boys had so much fun.
They are preparing for the last ride down the river for this trip. My friend Elena and I stuffed seven kids in her pilot(the other mom got talked into going down the river). We raced from point to point along the river to get pictures and videos of the guys. It was quite adventurous. Here is a fun video of the raft Jared was in, flipping. Don't worry, no one was harmed during the filming of this video.(The yelling voices you hear are the children of the parents that just filled!!!)

Oh man! There is a reason I leave the rafting up to others :) Glad everyone... looked like they were having fun!
I showed my kids the video and they thought the raft was filled with the kids at first. They were really worried until I said that it was Uncle Jared and his friends.
So glad you were able to have some fun with your friends....but it looks like I'm not the only one who finds that rafting a little worrisome !
