Green Beans/ Camping

 We have really been enjoying the Farmer's Market's here in Missoula. I usually wander around and around trying to decide what delicious fresh garden produce I want to purchase. While I am doing that, Jared entertains Gage by buying a yummy pastry to eat.

As you see here I put Jared and Gage to work snapping beans. These were one of my tasty finds from the Farmer's market! I can't wait until I can have a garden of my own.

We were enjoying a small bit of heaven on our little camping trip this weekend. It was a great spot that was close to the river, but not too close to cause concern with Gage.

Jared was able to fit in some fishing (of course not enough according to him). He didn't catch much, just a couple small fish. I followed Gage around as he picked unknown berries, played with sticks, followed trails etc... Then we went across a bridge that spanned the river. This was one of those kind that have movement as you walk. It felt very unstable to me, but Gage thought nothing of it and took off across to the other side. We found a sandy section along the river where Gage could throw rocks and put his hands and boots in the water. He could spend all day by the water.

When I was able to finally pull Jared away from fishing we went on a little hike. It was a great trail. Not difficult at all, but had some fun rocky areas and timber to go around or walk along. And it followed a stream. I love that.

Gage was riding in a pack on Jared's back and ended up falling asleep on the hike. One minute he was singing and the next he was nuzzling into Jared's back and fell asleep. When we got back from the hike Jared had a "helpful" idea! Since of course we don't want to disturb him, why don't I just fish and let him sleep. Now doesn't that just shock you that he would come up with such an idea? Ya, me either!


We were sad to leave, but we plan on going again in a couple weeks and staying longer.
